Cinnamon Butter Chicken

When zion was less than 18 months, I mostly boiled the chicken & added spices rarely in his food. As days passed by he started developing his tastebuds & he developed interest in flavours.. He is just like me, if the food dosnt taste good he doesnt eat it. So I have been experimenting with simple ingredients & marrying them with chicken. The Cinnamon Butter flavour is excellent. Even adults will love this. If you are making this for adults than add in some chili powder or green chilis.

After doing some experiments, I have come to a conclusion that steamed chicken tastes juicer & tastier than boiled chicken. So in this recipe & in many other zion's chicken recipes, I have steamed the chicken. Its very easy & simple to make. This is how I made it.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chicken cubes
  • 2 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tspn soya sauce
  • 1/2 tspn garlic chopped

Method:
Steam the chicken in the steamer for about 10 mins. If you dont have a steamer, just use the pressure cooker but donot put on the whistle. Once they are cooled set aside. Now in a pan add in butter, fry garlic, add in chicken, cinammon powder, soya sauce & salt. Give this a good mix & turn off the flame in 2 mins. The chicken is ready. If you over cook this the chicken will turn out very hard. Soya sauce is salty, so be careful when you add salt.

  4. That is so good, so creative, so interesting and very tempting. I adore the sitting of the chicken pieces inside the carrot rice. Yum all the way.

  5. Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this blog. It's
simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's challenging to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Safari. Superb Blog!
