Tawa Paneer (Video Recipe)

This week is again a very very busy week for me. I am having 6 cake orders this weekend. I am kind of mentally preparing myself. I am trying to make all the figurines ahead of time. I have also made my ready cake packets like box mix:). This will definitely save time.

Tawa Paneer is one of our favorite Paneer dish in the house. I make this dish at least once a week. This dish goes very well with Rotis. I made this yesterday & thought will make a video recipe. This is a super simple dish & extremely tasty

Total time: 1.40 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups Paneer cubes
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbspn Tomato paste
  • 2 tspn chili powder
  • 1/2 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1 tbspn Tandoori Masala (Everest Brand or any other)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Tomato puree from 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium onions chopped
  • 1 tbspn ginger paste
  • 1 tbspn Garlic paste
  • 1 tspn cumin seeds
  • 1 tspn carrom seeds (Ajwain
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 3 tbspn Oil

Method:

  1. Make a marinade using yogurt, tomato paste, salt, turmeric, chili & tandoori masala powder
  2. Marinade the Paneer for 1 hour or if you are in a hurry you can use it right away too.
  3. In a pan heat oil & fry the Paneer until the gravy thickens for about 3 minutes
  4. Once the Paneer is done, remove set aside.
  5. Into the same Pan add cumin seeds & carrom seeds. Add the onions, ginger garlic & saute for few minutes.
  6. Add the tomato puree into the pan & cook until fat separation for about 5 minutes. Keep sauteing in between & also close lid & cook.
  7. Once the masala is ready add in the tawa fried Paneer in to the masla & mix well.
  8. Cook this for about a minute & garnish it with coriander leaves.

Note:

  1. You can also add some water or cream if you want gravy.
  2. This is a semi dry dish & goes well with rice & roti.

Fondant Banana Tutorials

Banana & Tomatoes are the topic of discussion in Zion's school for this quarter. There was a home project for parents & kids to do along. We had to familiarise the kids about these fruits & do a project with the use of these fruits or any thing creative.  It was the last day & we had to submit the project to the school. Since I had guest at home, I had totally forgotten about this. Upon checking the date suddenly realised that this was pending.  Since I love working with fondant, thought why not make these fruits out of fondant. I had some left over fondant from previous cakes in the fridge, so thought will utilise it for this project. My friend was around while I was making these & she was totally shocked to see me do it fast. She is the one your video graphed this:) Thx Annu for supporting me in this video.

Zion was very excited seeing me do this for him. He actually wanted to eat them:) He was saying mamma..Banana banana.. give give...:)  He some how manged to damage the tomatoes & thankfully it reached the school in good shape. I have taken a video tutorial on how to make Banana's. Hope you will enjoy this video tutorials.

Blondies

For video recipe click here

Blondie's are cousins of Brownie & cookies. They are such a wonderful treat & absolutely tasty. I used Peanut Butter chips in my recipe. Well you can also add chocolate chips & nuts if you want. This is a wonderful snack for your kids. Its definitely rich as there is a lot of butter going in there. My lill Zion loved this sweet & I was so happy to see his snack box empty:).

I have been in the process of making video recipes, due to time & also support constraints this has been pending in a long while. Well where there is a will there is a way right? I am going to dedicate some time for this & you will see more of my video recipe soon. I must thank my Maid Mary for video graphing & always being there. Thankfully Zion was sleeping & we could shoot most of it without any disturbance. However you will hear him in the last part of the video:) I am waiting fir feedback from my readers & I hope you will love my video recipe.
