This is a 3rd post for BM#27. This is a special drink that I made & will be a show stopper for any occasion.Since I love to experiment new dishes in my kitchen, I made a mocktail long ago using green chili's & fruits. I must say that the flavour of green chilli make the drink so refreshing. It doesnt turn out spicy at all but just gives a nice flavour & a slight kick. This time for Easter I though of experimenting again with green chili & fruits. I made this juice to serve my VIP guests. They had a sip & were all praises... This drink really turned out good. I dint know what to name this so finally thought will call it "Theeka Meeta Sherbat" meaning (Sweet & spicy juice )Its very easy & your guests will go one praising non stop. No one can drink just once:) So make sure you make this in large quantity.
Serves 5
Ingredients:
- 2 cups apple juice (Store brought)
- Juice of 2 lemon
- 1 tspn salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 inch bottom tip of 2 green chilis
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup of ice cubes
In a juice jar mix all the above ingredients & blend it for about a minute or 2. Now the juice is ready to serve. I wet the rhim of the glass & dipped it in salt to make it look stylish. You too can try doing this.
