This is my last 8th post under seasonal for BM#27. This is a very old picture & I had made this long ago. This dish is called as Ponsa Patholi in Konkani, Kumbalaappam/ Kumbrangaya in Malyalam, HalsinahannuHittu in Kannada. Its a sweet Rice & jackfruit steamed pudding made mainly during raining Jackfruit season. I am not a very big fan of Jackfruit but eveyone at home is crazy about this dish. When my mom used to make these, she used to make in big bacth & we eat this for breakfast evening snack. Since coconut is added to this dish, this needs to be refregerated. Well back in coorg its so cold during rainy season that we never kept this in the fridge. I hope to make this again with better pictures & step by step instructions to show. This is how I made it.
