This is one of my Favorite Chicken dish. I learnt this recipe from my Mom & its very very tasty. I know there are a lot of Chilli Chicken versions, but trust me this is something you will love it. Best part is this is a healthier recipe as we don't need to deep fry the chicken. we make this with Chicken with bones & if you want you can make boneless .

500-600gms. chicken (cut into small pieces)
2 tbsp Soya sauce
5-6 Red dried chilies (coarsely chopped)
1 medium onion diced (Layered)
2 tbsp Soya sauce

1 Medium Green Capsicum (cut into cubes)
2 Tbsp Garlic Chopped
2 Tbsp Garlic Chopped
2 Tbsp Ginger chopped
1.5 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tbsp All Seasoning powder (or Maggie Chicken powder)
1/4 Tsp Red Food Color( Optional)
Method:- In a pan add 1 Tbsp oil & fry the chicken for about 5 to 8 minutes adding in salt, 1 Tbsp Chilli & turmeric powder. If required add a little water.
- Now remove the chicken & keep it aside.
- In the same Pan add 1 Tbsp of Oil fry Ginger, garlic, Red Chili, Onions. Add in Soya sauce, seasoning powder, cooked chicken,1.2 Tbsp Chili powder, Red color, capsicum, sugar & cook this for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
- Once the chicken is blended well in to the sauce the chicken is ready to eat.

ReplyDeletehi, this is the best chilly chicken recipe i have ever come across. it looked impossible to make one without deep frying chicken but ur mom has done a great job. thanks a ton and this is such a hit in my house.:)
