I had this dish name in my mind for a long time but never tasted it nor had seen it. After doing some research on the net, I found Show me the curry recipe interesting. I just made a few changes to it & made it . This was very simple to cook & very tasty. This is defenitely a keeper. We all loved it at home.
Ingredients:
Skinless Boneless Chicken - 1/2 Kg
Yogurt – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Garam Masala – 2 tsp
Kashmiri Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Oil – 2 Tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1,5 Tbsp
Tomatoe Puree – 1 cups (I put 2 medium tomatoes in mixer & pureed)
2 Tbsp Tomatoe sauce (Ketchup)
Water – as needed for desired consistency
Fried Onions – 1 cup
Red color- 1/4 tsp (Optional)
Coriander leaves – for garnish
Method:
Marinate the chicken with yogurt. salt, chili Powder, Tomato sauce& garam Masala powder for atleast 3 to 4 hrs. In a Pan heat oil fry the onions & remove. (I just shallow fried them). In the same pan add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree & fry them for about 5 mins. Now add in the marinated chicken, color & cook it on medium flame for about 8 mins until its done. Finally add in the fried onions & cook for another minute or 2 untill its well blended. Garnish it wih corinder leaves & ready to eat.
